🥩 Quick Bistro Beef Strips

Ingredienti
- 600 g Beef tenderloin or rump steak
- 400 g Potatoes, diced
- 30 ml Olive oil
- 1 große Red onion, sliced into rings
- 150 ml Broth (beef)
- 20 ml Brandy or wine (optional)
Preparazione
- 1. Parboil the diced potatoes in salted water for approx. 10 minutes until half-cooked. Drain and dry them.
- 2. Cut the meat into approx. 1.5 cm thick strips. Season them with salt and pepper.
- 3. Sear the meat strips in a hot pan with half the oil until browned. Remove them and let them rest.
- 4. Fry the parboiled potatoes in the same pan with the remaining oil until golden brown. Add the onion rings and sauté them for 2 minutes.
- 5. Deglaze the pan with the broth and brandy. Stir the sauce until smooth and return the meat to the pan. Let everything simmer for 2 minutes to blend the flavors.
- 6. Serve the meat with the caramelized potatoes and sauce directly on the plate.
