  10. 10. Slice the carrots into rounds about 1 cm thick.

  12. 12. Break the broccoli into small florets.
  13. 13. Cut the onion in half.
  14. 14. Peel the onion halves.
  15. 15. Wash the thyme.
  16. 16. Shake the thyme dry.
  17. 17. Strip the thyme leaves from the stems.
  18. 18. Place the halved and peeled onion into the mixing container.
