Ingredienti
- 4 mature, firm pears
- 400 ml dry red wine
- 3 tbsp Marsala
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 0.5 lemon
- Mint (for garnish)
- 100 g dried apricots (pitted)
- 250 ml apple juice
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- Lemon juice
Preparazione
- 1. Boil the apricots together with the apple juice in a small pot. Let the mixture simmer gently under a lid for about 10 minutes. Season everything with cinnamon, lemon juice and vanilla sugar. Then puree the mixture finely and let it cool completely.
- 2. Add red wine, Marsala, sugar, cinnamon and the lemon quarter to a tall, small pot. Heat the ingredients carefully.
- 3. Peel the pears, but be sure to leave the stem end on. Place the pears in the pot with the wine mixture. Let them cook gently under a lid for about 15 minutes. The pears should become soft but not fall apart. Occasionally pour some of the wine liquid over the fruit.
- 4. Spread the apricot sauce on the plates. Remove the drained pears and place them on the sauce. Garnish the dish with mint and serve it.
- 5. Tip: A quick apricot sauce for everyone in a hurry!
- 6. Take a small can of apricot halves and puree them together with 100 milliliters of apple juice and the spices.
