  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. 2. Wash the zucchini thoroughly. Cut them in half lengthwise.
  3. 3. Use a spoon to scoop out the inside of the zucchini to create a hollow. Do not take too much piece with it as it might break. Keep the hollowed shape.
  4. 4. Mix the cottage cheese, half of the mozzarella, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. 5. Fill the mixture into the zucchini halves.
  6. 6. Mix the tomato paste with the passata and a pinch of salt.
  7. 7. Place the stuffed zucchini in a baking dish. Pour the tomato sauce over them. Top with the remaining mozzarella.
  8. 8. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and the zucchini is tender.
