  1. 1. Wash the avocado and carefully cut it in half lengthwise.
  2. 2. Remove the pit and carefully slice the flesh into approximately 0.5 cm thick slices.
  3. 3. Drizzle the avocado slices immediately with some lemon juice to prevent them from turning brown.
  4. 4. Take a shallow bowl and add the panko breadcrumbs (coarse, airy breadcrumb crumbs) to it.
  5. 5. Add the grated parmesan, garlic powder, paprika powder, salt, and pepper to the panko mixture.
  6. 6. Mix the dry ingredients in the bowl well together.
  7. 7. Take a second bowl and crack the egg into it.
  8. 8. Whisk the egg with a fork until it is evenly mixed.
  9. 9. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
  10. 10. Take an avocado slice and coat it completely in the whisked egg.
  11. 11. Place the egg-coated slice into the panko mixture.
  12. 12. Press the panko mixture firmly onto the slice until it is completely covered.
  13. 13. Place the breaded avocado slices individually into the air fryer basket.
  14. 14. Cook the chips in the preheated air fryer at 180 °C for 12 minutes.
  15. 15. Turn the slices carefully after 6 minutes so they become evenly golden brown and crispy.
  16. 16. Remove the chips from the air fryer and let them cool down briefly.
  17. 17. Serve the avocado chips immediately as a healthy snack or side dish.
