🍽️ Crispy Chicken Burgers

Ingrédients
- 2 Burger buns
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp flour
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 2 slices sliced cheese
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 2 thick tomato slices
- 2 tbsp remoulade
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- oil (for frying)
Préparation
- 1. Rinse the lettuce leaves under cold water.
- 2. Remove any tough stems or wilted green parts from the lettuce.
- 3. Pat the chicken breast fillets dry with a kitchen towel.
- 4. Gently flatten the fillets using a meat mallet or a rolling pin.
- 5. Season the meat with salt and pepper to taste.
- 6. Coat the chicken pieces in a bowl of flour.
- 7. Whisk an egg in a second bowl.
- 8. Dip the floured chicken pieces into the whisked egg.
- 9. Cover the chicken pieces completely with breadcrumbs.
- 10. Heat oil in a large frying pan.
- 11. Fry the breaded chicken pieces in the hot oil.
- 12. Cook the chicken for about 4 to 5 minutes.
- 13. Turn the chicken until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 14. Place the finished chicken on kitchen paper.
- 15. Let the excess oil drain from the meat.
- 16. Slice the buns in half horizontally.
- 17. Place the chicken breast on the bottom half of the bun.
- 18. Place a slice of cheese on the hot chicken.
- 19. Place the washed lettuce leaves on top.
- 20. Place a slice of tomato on the lettuce.
- 21. Add a dollop of remoulade sauce on the tomato.
- 22. Add any other desired ingredients such as pickles or onions.
- 23. Place the top half of the bun on top as a lid.
- 24. Serve the chicken burger immediately.
