🍽️ Crispy Fish Stick Burgers with Tomato Mayo

Ingrédients
- 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Yoghurt
- 1 tsp Tomato Paste
- Salt
- 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Vegetable Onion
- 1 Tomato
- 2 Lettuce Leaves (e.g. Iceberg)
- 8 Fish Sticks
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 4 Burger Buns (with Sesame)
- Pepper (from the mill)
- Parsley (for Garnishing)
Préparation
- 1. Put the mayonnaise, yogurt, tomato paste, a pinch of salt, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice into a bowl.
- 2. Stir the ingredients with a spoon or fork until the sauce is smooth and uniform.
- 3. Taste the sauce and add more salt or lemon juice for acidity if needed.
- 4. Set the finished sauce aside to cool down.
- 5. Peel the onion and cut it into four equal pieces.
- 6. Cut the onion pieces into very thin strips.
- 7. Rinse the tomato under running water.
- 8. Cut off the hard stem area at the top of the tomato.
- 9. Slice the flesh of the tomato into thick rounds.
- 10. Wash the lettuce leaves thoroughly.
- 11. Shake the lettuce dry so that no water remains on it.
- 12. Cut the lettuce leaves into thin strips.
- 13. Put oil in a pan and heat it over medium heat.
- 14. Place the fish sticks in the hot pan.
- 15. Fry the fish sticks for about 6 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- 16. Turn the fish sticks occasionally while frying so they cook evenly.
- 17. Slice the buns horizontally in the middle.
- 18. Lightly toast the cut sides of the buns, for example in a toaster.
- 19. Take the cooled tomato mayonnaise and generously spread it on the bottom halves of the buns.
- 20. Distribute the fine onion strips evenly over the sauce.
- 21. Place the lettuce strips on top of the onions.
- 22. Place two fried fish sticks on the lettuce.
- 23. Place a thick tomato slice as the top layer on the fish sticks.
- 24. Place the top half of the bun on the burgers.
- 25. Sprinkle the remaining fresh onions over the finished burgers.
- 26. Grind some fresh pepper over them.
- 27. Garnish the burgers with fresh parsley if desired.
- 28. Serve the burgers immediately and enjoy them.
