🍽️ Homemade Apricot Jam

Ingrédients
- 1 kg apricots
- 1 packet citric acid
- 500 g extra jam sugar (2:1)
- 40 ml orange liqueur
Préparation
- 1. Pour boiling water over the apricots, immediately shock them in cold water, and peel off the skin. Cut the fruits in half, remove the pits, and chop them into small cubes.
- 2. Place the apricot pieces, citric acid, and jam sugar in a large pot and stir well. Cover the pot and let the mixture stand for 30 minutes so that the fruits release their own juice.
- 3. Heat the mixture over high heat while stirring constantly until it boils. Then let it boil vigorously for at least 3 minutes. Add the orange liqueur in the last few seconds and stir it in.
- 4. Fill the hot jam to the brim into jars with screw-top lids and seal them immediately. Turn the jars upside down for about 5 minutes to create a vacuum.
