  1. 1. Cut the block of feta cheese into two or four equal cubes.
  2. 2. Place the flour in a small bowl and season it to taste with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
  3. 3. Whisk the egg in a second bowl until it is uniform.
  4. 4. Mix the breadcrumbs with the oregano in a third bowl.
  5. 5. Roll the feta cubes first in the flour mixture.
  6. 6. Dip the floured feta pieces into the whisked egg.
  7. 7. Cover the feta pieces all over with the breadcrumb and oregano mixture.
  8. 8. Repeat the process with the egg and breadcrumbs if you want a particularly thick and crispy crust.
  9. 9. Place the breaded feta pieces into the basket of the air fryer.
  10. 10. Lightly spray the feta pieces with olive oil or brush them with it.
  11. 11. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and place the feta pieces inside for 10 to 12 minutes.
  12. 12. Turn the feta pieces once halfway through the cooking time.
  13. 13. Remove the feta when the breading is golden brown and crispy.
  14. 14. Enjoy the feta immediately plain, with honey, fresh herbs, or a yogurt dip.
