  1. 1. Fill a large pot with about 5 liters of water and add plenty of salt.
  2. 2. Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil.
  3. 3. Cut the bacon into strips about 0.5 centimeters thick.
  4. 4. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. 5. Fry the bacon in it for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. 6. Add the spaghetti to the boiling salted water.
  7. 7. Cook the pasta for about 10 minutes until al dente (firm to the bite).
  8. 8. Add the cherry tomato sauce to the fried bacon in the pan.
  9. 9. Let the sauce come to a brief boil.
  10. 10. Reduce the heat to low to medium and let the sauce simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.
