Ingredientes
- Eggs 2 unidades
- Mantequilla 125 g
- Sugar 80 g
- Salt pinch
- Vanilla sugar 2 tsp
- Wheat flour, Type 405 250 g
- levadura en polvo 1 cdta
- Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
Preparación
- 1. Separate the eggs. Save the egg whites for later.
- 2. Cut the butter into small cubes.
- 3. Put the butter cubes, the egg yolks, the sugar, the salt, the vanilla sugar, the flour and the baking powder into a bowl.
- 4. Work the ingredients into a smooth dough.
- 5. Divide the dough into two equal halves.
- 6. Mix one half with cocoa and one tablespoon of water.
- 7. Put both pieces of dough in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 175 °C top and bottom heat.
- 9. Sprinkle some flour on your work surface.
- 10. Shape the light dough into 5 rolls.
- 11. Shape the dark dough into 4 rolls.
- 12. Make sure the rolls are about 1 cm thick.
- 13. Place the rolls alternately in 3 rows on top of each other.
- 14. Make sure a chessboard pattern emerges.
- 15. Wrap the entire dough strand in cling film.
- 16. Put the dough strand back in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
- 17. Cut the dough strand into slices of approx. 1 cm thick.
- 18. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 19. Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes in the oven.
- 20. Let the cookies cool.
- 21. Store the cookies in an airtight container.
