  5. 5. Sift the flour, 80 grams of starch, and baking powder over the egg yolk mixture.
  6. 6. Gently fold in half of the egg whites.
  7. 7. Gently fold in the remaining egg whites.
  8. 8. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan.
  9. 9. Bake the batter in the oven for about 15 minutes until golden yellow.

  11. 11. Turn the cake out of the pan.
  12. 12. Wash the fruit and let it drain.
  13. 13. Remove the red currants from the stems.

  45. 45. Place the red grütze on the vanilla cream, starting from the center.
