🍰 Pastel Verde para el Día de San Patricio

Ingredientes
- Eggs 3 unidades
- Sugar 75 g
- Salt pinch
- Wheat flour, Type 405 75 g
- maicena 50 g
- levadura en polvo 1 cdta
- Lemons 1 unidades
- Cream cheese, plain 400 g
- azúcar glas 50 g
- Food coloring, green 2 cdta
- Chocolate lentils 4 cda
- Sugar pearls 4 cda
Preparación
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat.
- 2. Separate the eggs by separating the yolk from the white.
- 3. Whip the egg white in a bowl with a hand mixer and a whisk until stiff.
- 4. Slowly stir in 75 grams of sugar into the egg white.
- 5. Continue beating until the egg white looks creamy and shiny.
- 6. Take another bowl and beat the yolk with the remaining sugar and a pinch of salt until creamy for about 5 minutes.
- 7. Mix flour, starch, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- 8. Sift the flour mixture over the yolk mixture.
- 9. Gently fold in half of the egg white into the mixture.
- 10. Quickly fold in the remaining egg white.
- 11. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan.
- 12. Bake the cake in the oven for approx. 25 minutes until golden yellow.
- 13. Then let the cake base cool down completely.
- 14. Cut the cooled base into three equal parts.
- 15. Wash the lemon thoroughly.
- 16. Grate about 1 teaspoon of the zest finely.
- 17. Beat the cream cheese in a bowl with a hand mixer until frothy.
- 18. Gradually add icing sugar, food coloring, and the lemon zest.
- 19. Spread one quarter of the cream over the first cake base.
- 20. Place the second cake base on top.
- 21. Spread this second base with another quarter of the cream as well.
- 22. Place the third and final cake base on top.
- 23. Cover the entire cake with the remaining cream.
- 24. Decorate the green cake for unidades Patrick's Day with green chocolate lentils or sugar sprinkles.
