  1. 1. Fill a pot with about 1 liter of water and bring it to a boil.
  2. 2. Carefully add the 4 eggs to the bubbling water.
  3. 3. Boil the eggs for approx. 10 minutes until hard-boiled.
  4. 4. Remove the eggs and immediately shock them under cold water so the shell comes off easily.
  5. 5. Peel the boiled eggs completely and set them aside.
  6. 6. Peel the onion and garlic and chop both finely.
  7. 7. Wash the parsley, pat it dry, and pick the leaves off the stems.
  8. 8. Chop the parsley leaves finely as well.
  9. 9. Add the minced meat, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, garlic, parsley, and 1 raw egg to a large bowl.
  10. 10. Mix all ingredients well with your hands or a spoon.
  11. 11. Season the mixture generously with salt and pepper and adjust to taste if needed.
  12. 12. Preheat the oven to 170 °C top/bottom heat.
  13. 13. Roll out the puff pastry flat on a work surface.
  14. 14. Spread half of the minced meat mixture in the center of the pastry.
  15. 15. Make sure to leave a border of approx. 10 cm wide all around.
  16. 16. Place the peeled eggs in a row on the minced meat layer.
  17. 17. Cover the eggs completely with the remaining minced meat mixture.
  18. 18. Fold the puff pastry from the sides over the filling so everything is tightly wrapped.
  19. 19. Place the finished package on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  20. 20. Separate an egg and whisk only the egg yolk in a small bowl.
  21. 21. Brush the surface of the puff pastry evenly with the egg yolk.
  22. 22. Bake the dish for approx. 50 minutes in the oven until golden brown.
  23. 23. Remove the 'wrong hare' from the oven and let it cool briefly.
  24. 24. Cut the package into thick slices and serve warm.
