Ingredientes
- Eggs 4 pcs
- Milk 300 ml
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
- Cinnamon pinch
- Toast bread 10 slices
- Walnut kernels 100 g
- Apples, red 2 pcs
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Raisins 50 g
- azúcar glas 1 cda
Preparación
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees conventional heat.
- 2. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon well together in a bowl.
- 3. Place the toast slices in the liquid.
- 4. Press the slices down slightly so they fully absorb the mixture.
- 5. Coarsely chop the walnuts.
- 6. Wash the apples thoroughly.
- 7. Cut the apples in half and remove the core.
- 8. Slice the apples thinly.
- 9. Grease a baking dish with butter.
- 10. Layer the soaked toast slices and apple slices alternately in the dish.
- 11. Pour the remaining egg-cinnamon milk mixture over the layers.
- 12. Sprinkle the walnuts and raisins evenly on top.
- 13. Bake the casserole for about 35 minutes in the oven until golden brown.
- 14. Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool briefly.
- 15. Dust the dish with icing sugar.
- 16. Serve the casserole warm.
