  2. 2. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
  3. 3. Crack the egg into the well.
  4. 4. Cut the butter into small pieces and place them on the rim of the flour.
  5. 5. Chop all ingredients roughly with a large knife until a crumbly mass forms.
  6. 6. Knead the mixture quickly by hand into a smooth dough.
  7. 7. If the dough is too dry, add a little cold water; if too sticky, add a little flour.
  8. 8. Shape the dough into a ball and wrap it in cling film.
  9. 9. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  10. 10. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan-forced.
  11. 11. Brush the tartlet molds with soft butter.
  12. 12. Sprinkle the greased molds with the remaining almonds.
  13. 13. Wash the plums thoroughly.
  14. 14. Pit the plums and cut them into quarters.
