Ingredientes
- 200 g flour
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 80 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 untreated lemon (zest)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 egg
- 125 g butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
Preparación
- 1. Pour the flour and baking powder onto a clean work surface.
- 2. Press a well into the center of the flour mixture with your hand.
- 3. Add the sugar, cinnamon, vanilla sugar, lemon zest, salt, and egg into the well.
- 4. Mix these ingredients first with a portion of the flour to form a thick paste.
- 5. Place the butter, cut into small pieces, on top of the paste.
- 6. Cover the butter with the remaining flour.
- 7. Knead everything quickly into a smooth dough.
- 8. Wrap the dough tightly in cling film.
- 9. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius (conventional heat).
- 11. Lightly dust a work surface with flour.
- 12. Roll out the dough on the floured surface to a thickness of 5 millimeters.
- 13. Cut out stars or moons from the dough.
- 14. Place the shaped cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 15. Bake the cookies in the hot oven for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
- 16. Remove the cookies from the oven.
- 17. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
- 18. Stir the powdered sugar and milk together to form a thick glaze.
- 19. Brush the cooled cookies with the glaze.
- 20. Allow the glaze to dry thoroughly in the air.
