  1. 1. Pile the flour on your work surface, mix in the salt and sugar, and make a well in the center. Cut the cold butter into small pieces, scatter them around the well, add the egg, and mix everything with your
  2. 2. Chop the butter thoroughly until small crumbs form, then quickly knead it into a dough with your hands, shape it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and chill for about 30 minutes.
  3. 3. Wash the apples thoroughly, remove the core, and slice them into rounds.
  4. 4. Grease the tart pan with 50 g butter. Spread a generous layer of sugar (about 100 g) over the butter and arrange the apple slices in layers on top of the sugar.
  5. 5. Heat the cake pan on the stovetop over medium heat for about 15 minutes and remove from the heat as soon as the sugar starts to caramelize. Let it cool briefly, then sprinkle the remaining sugar on top and distribute the remaining butter in small pieces.
  6. 6. Roll out the dough, place it on top of the fruit layer, and press the edges down into the pan.
  7. 7. Bake the tart in the preheated oven (225°) for about 30 minutes. Remove it, turn it out onto a serving plate, sprinkle the edges with sliced almonds, and dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy lukewarm with whipped cream.
