  3. 3. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the flour thoroughly.
  4. 4. Place the pot back on low heat and keep stirring until a dough ball forms.
  5. 5. Transfer the dough into a bowl.
  6. 6. Beat the eggs into the dough one by one.
  7. 7. Stir until the dough is very smooth and pliable.
  8. 8. Cut baking paper into squares with a side length of 20 cm.
  9. 9. Brush the paper squares thinly with butter.
  10. 10. Fill the dough into a piping bag.
  11. 11. Pipe rings onto the prepared paper pieces.
  12. 12. Heat ghee (clarified butter) in a tall pot.
  13. 13. Test the temperature by holding a wooden stick in the fat; small bubbles should form.
  14. 14. Hold a paper piece with a ring upside down over the hot fat.
  15. 15. Let the dough slide gently into the fat.
  16. 16. Fry the spritzgebäck in batches for about 4 minutes on both sides until golden yellow.
  17. 17. Remove the finished cakes one by one with a slotted spoon.
