  1. 1. Rinse the strawberries thoroughly and remove the green stems. Cut large berries in half, while leaving small berries whole.
  2. 2. Wash the limes and finely grate the zest, for example using a grater. Then squeeze the limes to get the juice.
  3. 3. Mix the strawberries with vanilla sugar and half of the grated lime zest. Let the mixture sit for ten minutes so the flavors blend well.
  4. 4. Toast the oat flakes and the almond pieces separately in a small pan. Then place them on a plate. Roughly chop the pistachios and mix them with the oat flakes and almonds.
  5. 5. Stir the buttermilk with the lime juice and the remaining lime zest until a homogeneous mixture is formed.
  6. 6. Place the marinated strawberries in bowls or on deep plates. Pour the buttermilk over them and sprinkle everything with the oat almond pistachio mixture.
