🍽️ Crispy Duck Legs with Oven Vegetables

Ingredientes
- 2 duck legs (approx. 220 g each, skinless)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tbsp flour
- 150 ml orange juice
- 0.25 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp freshly chopped thyme sprig
- 450 ml chicken broth
- 6 small, young carrots (peeled)
- 4 small white turnips (peeled)
- 6 shallots (peeled)
- 100 g small new potatoes (peeled)
- thyme sprig (for garnish)
Preparación
- 1. Season the duck legs generously with salt and pepper.
- 2. Heat oil in a high, ovenproof pan.
- 3. Fry the duck legs in the hot oil until golden brown on all sides.
- 4. Add the garlic and flour to the pan.
- 5. Stir everything well to combine.
- 6. Stir in the orange juice.
- 7. Add cinnamon, thyme, and chicken broth.
- 8. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 9. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- 10. Place the pan in the preheated oven.
- 11. Let the meat cook for 20 minutes.
- 12. Add the vegetables to the pan.
- 13. Cook everything for another 30 minutes.
- 14. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- 15. Serve the dish garnished with fresh thyme.
