🍽️ Baked Cauliflower Casserole

Ingredientes
- 1 head cauliflower
- 2 tbsp butter
- 200 ml milk
- 100 ml cream
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 pinch(es) nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- cheese, grated
- fat for the dish
Preparación
- 1. Boil the cauliflower in salted water until al dente. Divide it into small florets and place them in a greased baking dish.
- 2. Melt the butter in a pot. Stir in the flour and let it cook briefly. Add the milk and cream and boil the sauce, stirring, until thick. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- 3. Pour the sauce over the cauliflower. Sprinkle everything with grated cheese and bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 180 degrees top and bottom heat for 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown. Optional: You can also mix fried bacon cubes into the sauce.
