1. Slice the beef into very thin strips. Mix the oil with the soy sauce and pour it over the meat. Let the ingredients marinate for 15 minutes.
2. Wash the beans and trim the ends. Cook them for about 10 minutes in heavily salted water. Drain them, immediately shock them with ice-cold water to keep them crisp, and let them drain well.
3. Fry the meat in the hot oil in the wok over high heat, stirring constantly, together with the chili peppers for 1 minute. Pour in the broth, add the beans, and heat everything for another 1 to 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Fold in the almonds just before serving.
