🍽️ Crispy Air Fryer Fries with Fresh Guacamole

Ingredients
- 1 kg large potatoes, waxy
- 4 tbsp sunflower oil
- 4 tsp cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tsp JS Fries Seasoning Salt
- 3 avocados
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 vine tomato
- 1 small onion, red
- 1 lime, juice
- salt
- 1/2 tsp JS Avocado Topping
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Cut the potatoes into slices about 1 cm thick.
- 3. Cut the slices into sticks about 0.5 cm thick.
- 4. Place the potato sticks in a colander.
- 5. Rinse the sticks thoroughly with cold water to remove excess starch.
- 6. Fill a large pot with plenty of water and bring it to a boil.
- 7. Place the potato sticks in a large bowl.
- 8. Pour the boiling water over the potatoes.
- 9. Let the potatoes steep in the hot water for about 2 hours.
- 10. Remove the potatoes from the water.
- 11. Dry the potato sticks thoroughly.
- 12. Add the sunflower oil, cornstarch, and fries seasoning salt to a clean bowl.
- 13. Mix the ingredients in the bowl well together.
- 14. Add the dry potato sticks to the oil mixture.
- 15. Toss the potatoes until they are evenly coated with the mixture.
- 16. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 17. Place the prepared fries into the air fryer basket.
- 18. Cook the fries for about 20 minutes at 200 °C.
- 19. Shake the basket vigorously 1-2 times during cooking to ensure the fries become evenly crispy.
- 20. Halve the avocados and carefully remove the pit.
- 21. Scoop out the flesh of the avocados with a spoon.
- 22. Place the avocado flesh in a bowl.
- 23. Add the olive oil to the avocado flesh.
- 24. Mash the avocado finely with a fork.
- 25. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 26. Remove the tough core from the tomatoes.
- 27. Dice the tomatoes finely.
- 28. Peel the onion.
- 29. Halve the onion.
- 30. Dice the onion finely.
- 31. Add the diced tomatoes and onions to the mashed avocado.
- 32. Mix all the guacamole ingredients thoroughly.
- 33. Halve the lime.
- 34. Squeeze the juice from the lime.
- 35. Add the lime juice to the guacamole.
- 36. Season the guacamole with salt and avocado topping to taste.
- 37. Remove the finished fries from the air fryer.
- 38. Place the fries in a large bowl.
- 39. Season the fries with additional fries seasoning salt if desired.
- 40. Toss the fries well to distribute the salt evenly.
- 41. Serve the hot fries immediately with the guacamole.
