🍽️ Crispy Vegan Tofu Sticks with Sesame Crust

Ingredients
- 200 g tofu
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 4 tbsp sesame
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
Instructions
- 1. Cut the tofu into even sticks.
- 2. Pat the tofu sticks dry with kitchen paper to remove excess water.
- 3. Mix soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, and sriracha in a bowl.
- 4. Turn the tofu sticks in the marinade until they are coated all over.
- 5. Let the tofu sticks marinate for 20 minutes.
- 6. Mix sesame seeds, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a second bowl.
- 7. Roll the marinated tofu sticks in the sesame mixture until well coated.
- 8. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 9. Place the tofu sticks in the air fryer.
- 10. Cook the tofu sticks for 15 minutes until crispy.
- 11. Turn the tofu sticks once halfway through the cooking time.
- 12. Serve the tofu sticks hot with your favorite dip.
