🍽️ Crispy Tofu Tikka Skewers from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 250 g firm tofu
- 1 piece red bell pepper
- 1 piece zucchini
- 1 piece red onion
- 100 g plant-based yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp tandoori spice
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt to taste
- wooden skewers, soaked in water beforehand
Instructions
- 1. Cut the tofu into approx. 2 cm cubes.
- 2. Cut the bell pepper, zucchini, and onion into bite-sized pieces.
- 3. Mix the plant-based yogurt with lemon juice, tandoori spice, ginger, garlic powder, and a little salt in a bowl.
- 4. Make sure the marinade is thick and aromatic.
- 5. Mix the tofu and vegetables with the marinade until everything is well coated.
- 6. Let the mixture marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- 7. Thread the tofu and vegetables alternately onto the wooden skewers.
- 8. Ensure the skewers are well-filled but not packed too tightly.
- 9. Place the skewers in the basket of the air fryer.
- 10. Spray the skewers with a little oil if necessary.
- 11. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C and cook the skewers for 15 minutes.
- 12. Turn the skewers halfway through the cooking time.
- 13. Ensure the marinade browns and the tofu becomes slightly crispy.
- 14. Serve the skewers with fresh coriander and a dollop of vegan yogurt.
- 15. Serve the skewers perfectly with flatbread or a simple cucumber salad.
