🍽️ Crispy Sesame Garlic Wings from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 500 g chicken wings
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Sriracha
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1 green onion cut into rings
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Add sesame oil, soy sauce, finely chopped garlic, honey, rice vinegar, and Sriracha to a large bowl.
- 2. Stir the liquids vigorously until they are well combined.
- 3. Place the chicken wings into the bowl.
- 4. Toss the wings until they are completely and evenly coated with the marinade.
- 5. Let the wings marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- 6. Set the air fryer to 190 °C.
- 7. Let the device preheat for about 5 minutes.
- 8. Take the marinated wings out of the bowl.
- 9. Place them one by one into the air fryer basket.
- 10. Make sure the wings do not touch or overlap.
- 11. Cook the wings at 190 °C for 20 to 25 minutes.
- 12. Open the basket after 8 to 10 minutes.
- 13. Turn the wings so they brown evenly on all sides.
- 14. Turn on a frying pan to medium heat.
- 15. Add the sesame seeds to the dry pan.
- 16. Toast the sesame seeds lightly until they are golden brown.
- 17. Remove the finished, crispy wings from the air fryer.
- 18. Place them in a clean bowl.
- 19. Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds generously over the wings.
- 20. Slice spring onions into small rings.
- 21. Top the wings with the spring onions as a garnish.
- 22. Serve the wings immediately while hot and enjoy.
