🍽️ Crispy Shish Kebab Skewers from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 300 g pork
- 1 piece bell pepper
- 1 piece bell pepper
- 1 piece onion
- 100 g mushrooms
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp honey or sugar
- 1 tsp vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Cut the meat into cubes of about 3 centimeters.
- 2. Cut the peppers, onions, and mushrooms into bite-sized pieces as well.
- 3. Add the oil, paprika powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, tomato paste, honey, and vinegar to a large bowl.
- 4. Mix the marinade ingredients well together.
- 5. Add the meat cubes to the bowl.
- 6. Toss the meat until it is completely coated with the marinade.
- 7. Let the meat marinate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
- 8. Thread the meat, peppers, onions, and mushrooms onto the skewers in an alternating pattern.
- 9. Make sure not to pack the ingredients too tightly on the skewers.
- 10. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C.
- 11. Place the filled skewers into the basket of the air fryer.
- 12. Cook the skewers for 15 minutes at 190 °C.
- 13. Turn the skewers after 7.5 minutes so they cook evenly on all sides.
- 14. Remove the skewers from the air fryer and let them rest for 2 minutes.
- 15. Serve the skewers with sides such as flatbread, rice, or a fresh salad.
