Ingredients
- 300 g chicken breast fillet
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 small red bell pepper
- 1 small zucchini
- wooden skewers
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken breast fillet into approx. 2–3 cm cubes with a sharp knife.
- 2. Cut the peppers and zucchini into bite-sized pieces as well.
- 3. Place the wooden skewers in a bowl of water and let them soak so they do not burn in the hot air.
- 4. Put the chicken meat into a large bowl.
- 5. Add olive oil, paprika powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- 6. Mix everything thoroughly until the meat is covered with the spice mixture on all sides.
- 7. Cover the bowl and let the marinade work for 10 minutes.
- 8. Thread chicken pieces, pepper cubes, and zucchini pieces alternately onto the drained wooden skewers.
- 9. Make sure the ingredients are not too close together so that the hot air can circulate well.
- 10. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C.
- 11. Place the skewers side by side in the basket without touching each other.
- 12. Cook the skewers for 10–12 minutes.
- 13. Turn the skewers once after half the cooking time so they turn golden brown on both sides.
- 14. Let the chicken skewers rest for 2 minutes after cooking.
- 15. Serve the skewers with a fresh yogurt dip or a crisp salad.
