🍽️ Crunchy Popcorn from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 50 g popcorn corn
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- ½ tsp salt or sugar
- Further spices to your liking
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 2. Place a heat-resistant bowl made of metal or silicone in the fryer basket to catch the corn kernels.
- 3. If you do not have a bowl, fold a piece of aluminum foil into a small tray with slightly raised edges and place it in the basket.
- 4. Put the corn kernels into the prepared tray.
- 5. If you want to use oil, add it now and stir the kernels so they are evenly coated.
- 6. Set the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 7. Make sure the basket is not too full so that the hot air can circulate well.
- 8. Let the corn pop for 6 to 8 minutes.
- 9. Carefully open the air fryer after about 3 to 4 minutes.
- 10. Shake the bowl slightly to distribute the corn kernels well.
- 11. Close the air fryer again and let the process continue.
- 12. Turn off the air fryer as soon as the popping slows down, which should be the case after approx. 8 minutes.
- 13. Let the popcorn rest in the air fryer for one minute.
- 14. Take the bowl with the finished popcorn out of the air fryer.
- 15. Season the popcorn to taste with salt, sugar, or other spices.
- 16. Enjoy the crunchy popcorn immediately.
