  1. 1. Pat the schnitzels dry with kitchen paper.
  2. 2. Place the meat slices between two layers of cling film.
  3. 3. Pound the meat flat with a meat mallet or the bottom of a pan until it is about 0.5 cm thick.
  4. 4. Season the schnitzels on both sides with salt and pepper.
  5. 5. Prepare three flat plates.
  6. 6. Put flour on the first plate.
  7. 7. Whisk an egg on the second plate.
  8. 8. Mix breadcrumbs with paprika powder on the third plate.
  9. 9. Coat the schnitzels in the flour first.
  10. 10. Shake off excess flour.
  11. 11. Dip the schnitzels into the whisked egg.
  12. 12. Coat the schnitzels thoroughly in the breadcrumbs.
  13. 13. Press the coating lightly so it adheres well.
  14. 14. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
  15. 15. Lightly spray the breaded schnitzels with oil spray on both sides.
  16. 16. Place the schnitzels side by side in the basket without overlapping.
  17. 17. Cook the schnitzels at 200 °C for 6 minutes.
  18. 18. Turn the schnitzels halfway through the cooking time.
  19. 19. Spray the schnitzels again with a little oil spray.
  20. 20. Cook the schnitzels at 200 °C for another 6 minutes.
  21. 21. Let the finished schnitzels rest for 2 minutes.
