🍽️ Crispy Wiener Schnitzel from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 2 pieces veal schnitzel
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 piece egg
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- Salt & pepper
- Oil spray
Instructions
- 1. Pat the schnitzels dry with kitchen paper.
- 2. Place the meat slices between two layers of cling film.
- 3. Pound the meat flat with a meat mallet or the bottom of a pan until it is about 0.5 cm thick.
- 4. Season the schnitzels on both sides with salt and pepper.
- 5. Prepare three flat plates.
- 6. Put flour on the first plate.
- 7. Whisk an egg on the second plate.
- 8. Mix breadcrumbs with paprika powder on the third plate.
- 9. Coat the schnitzels in the flour first.
- 10. Shake off excess flour.
- 11. Dip the schnitzels into the whisked egg.
- 12. Coat the schnitzels thoroughly in the breadcrumbs.
- 13. Press the coating lightly so it adheres well.
- 14. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 15. Lightly spray the breaded schnitzels with oil spray on both sides.
- 16. Place the schnitzels side by side in the basket without overlapping.
- 17. Cook the schnitzels at 200 °C for 6 minutes.
- 18. Turn the schnitzels halfway through the cooking time.
- 19. Spray the schnitzels again with a little oil spray.
- 20. Cook the schnitzels at 200 °C for another 6 minutes.
- 21. Let the finished schnitzels rest for 2 minutes.
