  1. 1. Rinse the Brussels sprouts thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Remove all wilted or damaged outer leaves.
  3. 3. Trim the bottom of the stem very slightly.
  4. 4. Halve all large sprouts lengthwise.
  5. 5. Place the prepared Brussels sprouts into a large bowl.
  6. 6. Add olive oil, garlic powder, paprika powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. 7. Mix everything well until every piece is evenly seasoned.
  8. 8. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C.
  9. 9. Place the Brussels sprouts into the air fryer basket.
  10. 10. Spread the Brussels sprouts evenly in the basket.
  11. 11. Cook the Brussels sprouts at 190 °C for 10 minutes.
  12. 12. Shake the basket vigorously once in the middle of cooking.
  13. 13. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan evenly over the Brussels sprouts.
  14. 14. Cook the Brussels sprouts for another 5 minutes at 190 °C.
  15. 15. Remove the basket when the cheese is golden brown and crispy.
  16. 16. Let the Brussels sprouts rest briefly in the basket.
  17. 17. Sprinkle chili flakes over the top if desired.
  18. 18. Serve the Brussels sprouts immediately while hot.
