🍽️ Crispy Fish Fillets from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 2 pieces fish fillets
- 50 g flour
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 piece egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 80 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fish fillets under cold water.
- 2. Pat the fillets completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Drizzle the fillets with lemon juice.
- 4. Season the fish lightly with salt and pepper.
- 5. Put the flour and paprika powder into a shallow dish and mix them.
- 6. Whisk the egg with the milk in a second bowl.
- 7. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- 8. Coat the fish fillets first in the flour mixture.
- 9. Then dip the floured fillets into the egg-milk mixture.
- 10. Finally, coat the fillets in the breadcrumbs.
- 11. Press the coating firmly so it sticks well.
- 12. Spray the breaded fillets with a little oil.
- 13. Place the fillets one by one into the air fryer basket.
- 14. Make sure the fillets do not touch each other.
- 15. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 16. Cook the fish fillets for 10 to 12 minutes.
- 17. Turn the fillets halfway through the cooking time.
- 18. Remove the fillets when they are golden brown and crispy.
- 19. Let the fish rest for 2 minutes.
- 20. Serve the baked fish with lemon slices.
- 21. Serve with remoulade or a yogurt-dill sauce.
