  1. 1. Rinse the fish fillets under cold water.
  2. 2. Pat the fillets completely dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Drizzle the fillets with lemon juice.
  4. 4. Season the fish lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. 5. Put the flour and paprika powder into a shallow dish and mix them.
  6. 6. Whisk the egg with the milk in a second bowl.
  7. 7. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  8. 8. Coat the fish fillets first in the flour mixture.
  9. 9. Then dip the floured fillets into the egg-milk mixture.
  10. 10. Finally, coat the fillets in the breadcrumbs.
  11. 11. Press the coating firmly so it sticks well.
  12. 12. Spray the breaded fillets with a little oil.
  13. 13. Place the fillets one by one into the air fryer basket.
  14. 14. Make sure the fillets do not touch each other.
  15. 15. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
  16. 16. Cook the fish fillets for 10 to 12 minutes.
  17. 17. Turn the fillets halfway through the cooking time.
  18. 18. Remove the fillets when they are golden brown and crispy.
  19. 19. Let the fish rest for 2 minutes.
  20. 20. Serve the baked fish with lemon slices.
  21. 21. Serve with remoulade or a yogurt-dill sauce.
