  1. 1. Wash the zucchini thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Cut off the hard ends on both sides of the zucchini.
  3. 3. Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise.
  4. 4. Cut each half into strips about 1 cm thick.
  5. 5. Prepare three shallow bowls side by side.
  6. 6. Fill the first bowl with the flour.
  7. 7. Whisk the egg in the second bowl until smooth.
  8. 8. Mix the breadcrumbs with the spices and Parmesan in the third bowl.
  9. 9. Coat each zucchini stick first in the flour.
  10. 10. Dip the floured stick into the beaten egg.
  11. 11. Roll the egg-coated stick in the breadcrumb mixture.
  12. 12. Press the coating firmly onto the zucchini so it sticks well.
  13. 13. Place the breaded sticks side by side in the fryer basket.
  14. 14. Lightly spray the sticks with oil.
  15. 15. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
  16. 16. Put the sticks in the air fryer and cook them for 6 minutes.
  17. 17. Turn the sticks once halfway through the cooking time.
  18. 18. Cook the sticks for another 6 to 9 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
  19. 19. Remove the sticks from the air fryer immediately.
  20. 20. Serve the sticks hot with a dip of your choice.
