🍽️ Crispy Zucchini Sticks from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 1 piece zucchini
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 30 g grated parmesan
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 piece egg
Instructions
- 1. Wash the zucchini thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Cut off the hard ends on both sides of the zucchini.
- 3. Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise.
- 4. Cut each half into strips about 1 cm thick.
- 5. Prepare three shallow bowls side by side.
- 6. Fill the first bowl with the flour.
- 7. Whisk the egg in the second bowl until smooth.
- 8. Mix the breadcrumbs with the spices and Parmesan in the third bowl.
- 9. Coat each zucchini stick first in the flour.
- 10. Dip the floured stick into the beaten egg.
- 11. Roll the egg-coated stick in the breadcrumb mixture.
- 12. Press the coating firmly onto the zucchini so it sticks well.
- 13. Place the breaded sticks side by side in the fryer basket.
- 14. Lightly spray the sticks with oil.
- 15. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 16. Put the sticks in the air fryer and cook them for 6 minutes.
- 17. Turn the sticks once halfway through the cooking time.
- 18. Cook the sticks for another 6 to 9 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 19. Remove the sticks from the air fryer immediately.
- 20. Serve the sticks hot with a dip of your choice.
