Ingredients
- 1 piece banana
- 80 g oats
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- Some coconut oil for greasing
Instructions
- 1. Place the banana in a bowl.
- 2. Mash the banana thoroughly with a fork.
- 3. Make sure no large chunks remain.
- 4. Add the oats to the mashed banana.
- 5. Add cinnamon.
- 6. Add the vanilla extract.
- 7. Take a pinch of salt.
- 8. Optionally add maple syrup or honey if desired.
- 9. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 10. The result should be a sticky, moldable mass.
- 11. Form small balls from the mixture.
- 12. The balls should be about walnut-sized.
- 13. If the mixture is too sticky, work in more oats.
- 14. Lightly grease the air fryer basket with coconut oil.
- 15. Alternatively, you can use a small piece of baking paper.
- 16. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 17. Place the banana bites in the basket.
- 18. Bake the bites for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 19. The bites should be golden brown.
- 20. Shake the basket briefly in between.
- 21. This ensures even cooking.
- 22. Let the bites cool down for about 5 minutes after cooking.
- 23. This makes them crispy on the outside.
- 24. They remain soft on the inside.
- 25. Enjoy the bites plain.
- 26. Or combine them with yogurt.
- 27. Add fresh fruit.
