🍽️ Crispy Green Beans from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 250 g green beans
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 30 g parmesan
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the green beans thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Trim the tough ends from both sides of the beans.
- 3. Pat the beans dry with a kitchen towel so the coating sticks better later.
- 4. Place the dry beans into a large bowl.
- 5. Add a splash of olive oil, garlic powder, paprika powder, salt, and pepper.
- 6. Mix everything well until every bean is evenly coated with the seasoning.
- 7. Take a second, smaller bowl and mix Parmesan cheese with breadcrumbs in it.
- 8. Roll the seasoned beans one by one or in small batches in the cheese and flour mixture.
- 9. Make sure the coating sticks well to every bean.
- 10. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C.
- 11. Place the breaded beans into the air fryer basket.
- 12. Make sure the beans are not overlapping so they cook evenly.
- 13. Cook the beans at 190 °C for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 14. Shake the basket vigorously halfway through the time (i.e., after 4 to 5 minutes).
- 15. Remove the crispy beans as soon as they are golden brown.
- 16. Serve the beans immediately while still hot.
- 17. Optionally garnish with a dip like yogurt-garlic sauce or a light chili mayo.
