  1. 1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water.
  2. 2. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Place the dry shrimp in a bowl.
  4. 4. Add paprika powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. 5. Mix the spices well with the shrimp.
  6. 6. Prepare a small bowl with flour.
  7. 7. Prepare a second bowl with beaten egg.
  8. 8. Prepare a third bowl with panko breadcrumbs.
  9. 9. Coat each shrimp first in the flour.
  10. 10. Dip the floured shrimp through the egg.
  11. 11. Roll the shrimp in the panko breadcrumbs.
  12. 12. Make sure the shrimp are well covered with panko.
  13. 13. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
  14. 14. Place the breaded shrimp side by side in the basket.
  15. 15. Do not stack the shrimp on top of each other.
  16. 16. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
  17. 17. Cook the shrimp for 8 to 10 minutes.
  18. 18. Turn the shrimp once halfway through the cooking time.
  19. 19. Remove the shrimp when they are golden brown and crispy.
  20. 20. Serve the shrimp hot.
  21. 21. Garnish them with lemon wedges.
  22. 22. Optionally serve with spicy aioli or sweet chili sauce.
