🍽️ Crispy Shrimp from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 250 g shrimp
- 1 piece egg
- 40 g panko
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water.
- 2. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Place the dry shrimp in a bowl.
- 4. Add paprika powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- 5. Mix the spices well with the shrimp.
- 6. Prepare a small bowl with flour.
- 7. Prepare a second bowl with beaten egg.
- 8. Prepare a third bowl with panko breadcrumbs.
- 9. Coat each shrimp first in the flour.
- 10. Dip the floured shrimp through the egg.
- 11. Roll the shrimp in the panko breadcrumbs.
- 12. Make sure the shrimp are well covered with panko.
- 13. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
- 14. Place the breaded shrimp side by side in the basket.
- 15. Do not stack the shrimp on top of each other.
- 16. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 17. Cook the shrimp for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 18. Turn the shrimp once halfway through the cooking time.
- 19. Remove the shrimp when they are golden brown and crispy.
- 20. Serve the shrimp hot.
- 21. Garnish them with lemon wedges.
- 22. Optionally serve with spicy aioli or sweet chili sauce.
