🍽️ Crispy Fish Fillets with Lemon Crust from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 2 pieces fish fillets
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 1 piece organic lemon
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 piece egg
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the fish fillets under cold water.
- 2. Pat the fillets completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Season the fillets on both sides with salt and pepper.
- 4. Put the breadcrumbs into a bowl.
- 5. Add the lemon zest, garlic powder, paprika powder, and chopped parsley.
- 6. Mix the ingredients for the coating well together.
- 7. Put the flour on a plate.
- 8. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and whisk them.
- 9. Coat the fish fillets first in the flour.
- 10. Then dip the floured fillets into the beaten eggs.
- 11. Press the fillets into the breadcrumb-lemon mixture.
- 12. Press the coating slightly to ensure it sticks well.
- 13. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 14. Lightly spray the breaded fillets with olive oil.
- 15. Place the fillets in the basket of the air fryer.
- 16. Cook the fish fillets for 10 to 12 minutes at 200 °C.
- 17. Turn the fillets halfway through the cooking time.
- 18. Remove the fillets when they are golden brown and crispy.
- 19. Let the fish fillets rest for 2 minutes.
- 20. Garnish the fillets with a squeeze of lemon juice.
- 21. Sprinkle some fresh parsley over them.
- 22. Serve the fillets with a fresh salad or oven potatoes.
