🍽️ Crispy Chicken Nuggets from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 2 pieces chicken breast fillets
- 50 g flour
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 piece egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 80 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp oil
Instructions
- 1. Cut the chicken breast fillets into small, bite-sized cubes.
- 2. Season the chicken pieces with a pinch of salt, freshly ground pepper, and garlic powder.
- 3. Put the flour into a shallow bowl and stir in paprika powder.
- 4. Whisk the egg with the milk in a second bowl.
- 5. Fill the breadcrumbs into a third bowl.
- 6. Coat the chicken pieces first in the seasoned flour.
- 7. Then dip the floured pieces into the egg-milk mixture.
- 8. Finally, coat the wet pieces in the breadcrumbs.
- 9. Press the breading firmly so that it sticks well.
- 10. Spray the breaded nuggets with a little oil or brush them lightly.
- 11. Place the nuggets individually in the air fryer basket without overlapping them.
- 12. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C and place the nuggets inside.
- 13. Cook the nuggets for 5 minutes at 200 °C.
- 14. Turn the nuggets after half the time.
- 15. Continue cooking at 200 °C for another 5 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 16. Let the finished nuggets rest for 2 minutes.
- 17. Serve the nuggets with ketchup, BBQ sauce, or a yogurt-herb dip.
