  1. 1. Cut the chicken breast fillets into small, bite-sized cubes.
  2. 2. Season the chicken pieces with a pinch of salt, freshly ground pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. 3. Put the flour into a shallow bowl and stir in paprika powder.
  4. 4. Whisk the egg with the milk in a second bowl.
  5. 5. Fill the breadcrumbs into a third bowl.
  6. 6. Coat the chicken pieces first in the seasoned flour.
  7. 7. Then dip the floured pieces into the egg-milk mixture.
  8. 8. Finally, coat the wet pieces in the breadcrumbs.
  9. 9. Press the breading firmly so that it sticks well.
  10. 10. Spray the breaded nuggets with a little oil or brush them lightly.
  11. 11. Place the nuggets individually in the air fryer basket without overlapping them.
  12. 12. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C and place the nuggets inside.
  13. 13. Cook the nuggets for 5 minutes at 200 °C.
  14. 14. Turn the nuggets after half the time.
  15. 15. Continue cooking at 200 °C for another 5 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
  16. 16. Let the finished nuggets rest for 2 minutes.
  17. 17. Serve the nuggets with ketchup, BBQ sauce, or a yogurt-herb dip.
