  1. 1. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them very finely or press them.
  2. 2. Place the soft butter in a small bowl.
  3. 3. Add the chopped garlic, chopped parsley, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Mix all ingredients well together until a uniform butter paste is formed.
  5. 5. Stir the grated Parmesan into the butter if you wish to use it.
  6. 6. Slice the baguette or ciabatta into approximately 2 cm thick slices.
  7. 7. Brush each bread slice generously with the prepared garlic butter.
  8. 8. Place the buttered bread slices one by one into the air fryer basket.
  9. 9. Make sure the slices do not overlap in the basket.
  10. 10. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and place the slices inside.
  11. 11. Cook the bread for 7 to 8 minutes until it is golden brown and crispy.
  12. 12. Remove the bread from the air fryer and let it rest for 2 minutes.
  13. 13. This ensures that it stays nicely crispy on the outside.
  14. 14. Serve the garlic bread directly, for example with pasta, soups, or as an appetizer.
