  1. 1. Open the can of chickpeas and drain the liquid.
  2. 2. Pat the chickpeas dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. 3. Place the chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, and coriander into a food processor.
  4. 4. Blend the ingredients until you have a coarse mixture.
  5. 5. Add baking powder and flour to the bowl.
  6. 6. Mix everything thoroughly.
  7. 7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  8. 8. Shape small balls from the mixture (about the size of a walnut).
  9. 9. Let the balls rest for 10 minutes to firm up.
  10. 10. Lightly brush the falafel balls with olive oil.
  11. 11. Place the falafel into the air fryer.
  12. 12. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C and cook the falafel for 12 to 15 minutes.
  13. 13. Turn the balls halfway through cooking time so they brown evenly.
  14. 14. Whisk yogurt, lemon juice, mint, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  15. 15. Serve the hot falafel with the mint yogurt dip.
