🍽️ Crispy Potato Rösti from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 3 pieces potatoes
- 1 piece onion
- 1 piece egg
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Peel the potatoes.
- 2. Grate the peeled potatoes coarsely.
- 3. Squeeze the grated potatoes firmly in a clean cloth to remove excess liquid.
- 4. Grate the onion finely.
- 5. Mix the grated onion with the squeezed potatoes.
- 6. Add the egg, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika powder to the potato-onion mixture.
- 7. Mix all ingredients well until a uniform dough forms.
- 8. Form small, palm-sized rösti from the mixture.
- 9. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 10. Place the rösti individually in the basket so they do not touch.
- 11. Cook the rösti for 15 to 20 minutes in the air fryer.
- 12. Turn the rösti halfway through the cooking time so they become crispy on both sides.
- 13. Spray a little oil over the rösti if they seem too dry.
- 14. Remove the rösti from the air fryer.
- 15. Let the rösti rest for 5 minutes.
- 16. Serve the rösti warm.
