🍽️ Crispy Herb-Crusted Chicken Breast from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 2 pieces chicken breast fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 piece garlic clove
- salt and pepper to taste
- lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast fillets under cold water.
- 2. Pat the fillets completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Season both sides of the fillets generously with salt and pepper.
- 4. Put olive oil, breadcrumbs (if desired), thyme, oregano, rosemary, and the chopped garlic clove into a small bowl.
- 5. Mix the ingredients in the bowl well together to form the aromatic crust.
- 6. Press the herb mixture evenly onto both sides of the chicken breast fillets.
- 7. Make sure the fillets are completely covered with the crust.
- 8. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 9. Place the fillets individually in the basket of the air fryer.
- 10. Make sure the fillets do not touch or overlap.
- 11. Set the air fryer to 180 °C and cook the chicken breast for 18 minutes.
- 12. Turn the fillets after 9 minutes (after half the time).
- 13. Let the chicken breast rest for 2 minutes after cooking.
- 14. Optionally, drizzle some lemon juice over the meat for freshness.
- 15. Serve the chicken breast directly with fresh salad, rice, or roasted vegetables.
