🍽️ Crispy Greek-style Air Fryer Potatoes

Ingredients
- 500 g small potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp paprika powder, sweet
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- juice of half a lemon
- salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley or feta for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the potatoes thoroughly under cold running water.
- 2. Decide on the size of your potato pieces.
- 3. Keep small potatoes whole.
- 4. Cut large potatoes into bite-sized cubes.
- 5. Take a large mixing bowl.
- 6. Pour the olive oil into the bowl.
- 7. Add oregano.
- 8. Add thyme.
- 9. Add paprika powder.
- 10. Add garlic powder.
- 11. Squeeze in the lemon juice.
- 12. Season with salt.
- 13. Season with pepper.
- 14. Stir the marinade mixture well.
- 15. Add the potato pieces to the marinade.
- 16. Toss the potatoes until they are evenly coated.
- 17. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 18. Place the potatoes into the air fryer basket.
- 19. Ensure the potatoes are in a single layer without overlapping.
- 20. Cook the potatoes for 25 minutes at 200 °C.
- 21. Shake the basket after 10 minutes.
- 22. Shake the basket again after another 10 minutes (at the 20-minute mark).
- 23. Pierce a potato piece with a fork.
- 24. Check if the potato is tender inside.
- 25. If needed, cook for another 3 to 5 minutes at 200 °C.
- 26. Remove the cooked potatoes from the fryer.
- 27. Serve the potatoes on a plate.
- 28. Optionally garnish with fresh parsley.
- 29. Optionally garnish with crumbled feta cheese.
- 30. Add a final squeeze of lemon juice.
