  2. 2. Place the almonds in a large bowl and mix them with the sugar-cinnamon mixture until they are evenly coated.
  3. 3. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
  4. 4. Place the marinated almonds in the air fryer basket and spread them out evenly.
  5. 5. Cook the almonds for 8 to 10 minutes in the air fryer at 180 °C.
  6. 6. Stir the almonds every 2 to 3 minutes to ensure even caramelization and prevent burning.
  7. 7. Remove the hot almonds from the air fryer and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  8. 8. Spread the almonds out flat and let them cool for about 10 minutes until the caramel hardens.
  9. 9. Transfer the cooled almonds to a bowl and enjoy them, or pack them into small bags to give as gifts.
