🍽️ Crispy Cinnamon Almonds from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 200 g almonds
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions
- 1. Whisk sugar, cinnamon, vanilla sugar, and water in a small bowl until a slightly thick mixture forms.
- 2. Place the almonds in a large bowl and mix them with the sugar-cinnamon mixture until they are evenly coated.
- 3. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 4. Place the marinated almonds in the air fryer basket and spread them out evenly.
- 5. Cook the almonds for 8 to 10 minutes in the air fryer at 180 °C.
- 6. Stir the almonds every 2 to 3 minutes to ensure even caramelization and prevent burning.
- 7. Remove the hot almonds from the air fryer and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- 8. Spread the almonds out flat and let them cool for about 10 minutes until the caramel hardens.
- 9. Transfer the cooled almonds to a bowl and enjoy them, or pack them into small bags to give as gifts.
