🍽️ Crispy Pumpkin Sticks from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 400 g Hokkaido pumpkin
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
Instructions
- 1. Wash the pumpkin thoroughly under running water. Cut it in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and cut the flesh into strips about 1 to 2 centimeters thick.
- 2. Place the pumpkin strips in a large bowl. Add a splash of olive oil, paprika powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well until the strips are evenly seasoned. Add breadcrumbs optionally if you like it extra crispy.
- 3. Preheat the air fryer to 180 °C.
- 4. Place the pumpkin strips in the fryer basket. Make sure they do not overlap. Cook them for 15 minutes. Turn the strips after 7.5 minutes so they become crispy on both sides.
- 5. Remove the strips from the air fryer. Let them rest for 2 minutes before serving.
- 6. Serve the warm pumpkin sticks with your favorite dip, such as yogurt herb dip or aioli.
