🍽️ Crispy Pea Patties from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 200 g frozen green peas
- 50 g oat flakes
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Place the thawed peas in a bowl.
- 2. Mash the peas roughly with a fork.
- 3. Make sure some small pieces remain.
- 4. Add the oats to the pea mixture.
- 5. Add the chopped onion.
- 6. Add the chopped garlic.
- 7. Sprinkle in the chopped parsley.
- 8. Add the cumin.
- 9. Add the paprika powder.
- 10. Season with salt and pepper.
- 11. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 12. Stir the egg into the mixture.
- 13. Check the consistency of the mixture.
- 14. If the mixture seems too wet, add a little more oats.
- 15. Form four patties from the mixture.
- 16. Place the patties on a plate.
- 17. Let the patties rest for five minutes.
- 18. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C.
- 19. Place the patties in the fryer basket.
- 20. Optionally brush the patties with a little olive oil.
- 21. Cook the patties for 10 to 12 minutes in the air fryer.
- 22. Turn the patties halfway through the cooking time.
- 23. Remove the patties from the air fryer when they are golden brown and crispy.
- 24. Let the patties cool down briefly.
- 25. Serve the patties with yogurt dip or fresh salad.
