- 70 g flour
- 50 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
- 1. Put water, butter, sugar, and a pinch of salt into a small saucepan.
- 2. Heat the mixture on medium heat until the butter has melted.
- 3. Let the mixture simmer gently for a short moment.
- 4. Remove the saucepan from the heat immediately.
- 5. Stir the flour into the hot liquid using a wooden spoon.
- 6. Keep stirring until a smooth ball of dough forms.
- 7. Let the dough cool down for 5 minutes.
- 8. Cooling prevents the egg from scrambling when you add it.
- 9. Add the egg to the cooled dough.
- 10. Stir the egg in thoroughly until a smooth mass forms.
- 11. The finished dough should be thick and sticky.
- 12. Fill the dough into a piping bag.
- 13. Attach a star nozzle to the piping bag.
- 14. The star nozzle creates the typical churro look.
- 15. Line a tray with baking paper.
- 16. Pipe the dough into 8 to 10 cm long strips onto the tray.
- 17. Make sure to leave enough space between the churros.
- 18. Preheat the air fryer to 190 °C.
- 19. Place the churros in the air fryer basket.
- 20. Bake the churros for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 21. The churros are done when they are golden brown and crispy.
- 22. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
- 23. Roll the hot churros immediately after baking in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- 24. Serve the churros warm.
- 25. Serve chocolate or caramel sauce as a dip.
