🍽️ Crispy Cevapcici from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 250 g ground beef
- 1 piece onion
- 1 piece garlic clove
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp mineral water with carbonation
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Place the minced meat into a large bowl.
- 2. Add the finely chopped onion and garlic.
- 3. Sprinkle paprika powder, cumin, salt, pepper, oregano, and chili flakes over the meat.
- 4. Pour in the carbonated mineral water.
- 5. Knead the mixture vigorously until the spices are evenly distributed.
- 6. Shape small sausages from the meat mixture.
- 7. Ensure the sausages are about 6 to 8 centimeters long.
- 8. Keep the sausages rather thin so they cook through well in the air fryer.
- 9. Brush the cevapcici lightly with olive oil.
- 10. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 11. Place the cevapcici into the cooking basket.
- 12. Make sure the sausages do not touch each other.
- 13. Cook the cevapcici for 10 to 12 minutes at 200 °C.
- 14. Turn the sausages halfway through the cooking time.
- 15. Let the cevapcici rest briefly after cooking.
- 16. This allows the meat juices to distribute evenly.
- 17. Serve the cevapcici with ajvar, fresh onions, flatbread, or a salad.
