🍽️ Crispy Broccoli Cheese Patties from the Air Fryer

Ingredients
- 1 piece egg
- 50 g grated cheese
- 1 tbsp almond flour
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the broccoli and remove the tough stems.
- 2. Pulverize the broccoli in a food processor or with a sharp knife until it is very fine.
- 3. Make sure the broccoli pieces are almost as small as rice grains.
- 4. Place the chopped broccoli into a large mixing bowl.
- 5. Add an egg, grated cheese, almond flour, mustard, ground nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- 6. Mix all ingredients with a spoon or your hands until a homogeneous mass forms.
- 7. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into 4 to 6 flat patties.
- 8. Press the patties slightly flat.
- 9. If the mixture is too wet to shape, stir in a little more almond flour.
- 10. Place a piece of baking paper in the basket of the air fryer.
- 11. Secure the patties on the baking paper so they do not fly out.
- 12. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.
- 13. Place the patties in the air fryer.
- 14. Cook the patties at 200 °C for 6 minutes.
- 15. Carefully turn the patties with a fork or tongs.
- 16. Cook the patties at 200 °C for another 6 minutes.
- 17. Check if the patties are golden brown and slightly crispy.
- 18. Remove the patties from the air fryer.
- 19. Let the patties cool on a plate for 5 minutes.
- 20. Wait until they are more stable before handling them.
